Taking a light-hearted, fun approach, Ticha and Dr. Fern use their humor, experience, knowledge and expertise to bring less discussed topics and issues to the conversation. Ticha is on a mission to encourage people to speak about sexuality, something that has traditionally been taboo in Thailand. Dr Fern wants to educate Thais about safe sex and types of contraception so that the risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) can be minimized or even prevented.

This fast-paced series is geared to equip you with answers to many questions and to help bring sex education into the conversation in safe spaces where people do not need to feel awkward or embarrassed.

Prevention is Better Than Cure

Traditionally, sex has been a taboo subject in Thai culture and Thailand is not alone in this. The CI Talks Sex Education video web series is about prevention being better than cure; unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases and more.

Our two coaches want to spark change in society so that people of all ages have safe access to information that is informative, correct and age-appropriate. We live in a fast-paced world where adults and children have unprecedented access to huge amounts of media and information; good, bad and ugly.

Now more than ever, there are reasons to relook at how sex education is taught and at what age; safe sex, birth control, and infectious diseases, rights over one’s own body, consent, sexual harassment and more.
