Empowering Women's Health: Miss Universe Vietnam's W-Project for Change

Greetings, CI Talks community! I am Bui Quynh Hoa, your Miss Universe Vietnam, and I am thrilled to share with you my passion project, the "W-Project," as my official entry into the 72nd Miss Universe Voice for Change contest, presented by Mouawad and CI Talks.

1. A Disturbing Reality: Gynecological Health in Vietnam

In my journey as an advocate for positive change, I discovered a shocking truth about women's health in Vietnam. With Vietnamese women often prioritizing others over themselves, a staggering 90% suffer from gynecological issues, according to the Ministry of Health. This alarming statistic reveals a pressing need for awareness and action.

2. W-Project: Bridging Gaps in Reproductive Health

As the leader of the W-Project, I am proud to share that we've provided 100 health insurance cards to underprivileged women in remote areas, ensuring they receive the essential medical care they deserve. These cards not only offer financial relief but also contribute to sustainable healthcare solutions for our community.

3. Education for Empowerment: From Prevention to Treatment

I am actively engaged in preventing infectious diseases in young children, collaborating with specialized doctors to educate nearly 30 young adults on gynecological knowledge and modern disease prevention and treatment methods. Together with the "Fund to Contribute a Hand," we are raising awareness about reproductive health, sexual health, HIV prevention, and gender-based violence, making a real impact on lives across Da Lat, Cu Chi, and beyond.

4. Shaping the Future: Transforming Perspectives on Women's Health

My goal is to empower female students across various regions in Vietnam by imparting knowledge on reproductive and sexual health. Through collaboration with government agencies and organizations, I am dedicated to creating a lasting impact and transforming the way women perceive their health.
