The Voice for Change Video Contest
The Voice for Change Video Contest, a collaboration between Mouawad, sponsors of Miss Universe Thailand, and CI Talks, a platform dedicated to social impact and sustainable development, was a platform for beauty queen contestants to make a difference. Contestants were invited to craft and submit videos of up to 3 minutes, addressing a social issue close to their hearts, aiming to spark positive change in Thailand.
Judging Criteria
A panel of five distinguished judges evaluated each Voice for Change video entry with precision, using the following criteria:
- Compelling Case for the Cause: How effectively was the cause explained, and was it supported by evidence?
- Solution Evaluation: How innovative and viable were the solutions proposed to address the problem?
- Quality of Message Delivery: To what extent did the presenter's voice engage and resonate with the audience?
- Message Memorability and Credibility: Did the video leave a lasting impact, and was the call to action strong and credible?
- Creativity and Innovation: Did the presentation of the message stand out, either through the solution or delivery?
The Voice for Change MUT-23 Gold Winners
The culmination of talent and passion reached its peak during the Miss Universe Thailand 2023 finals on August 20, 2023, as the three Voice for Change Gold Winners were announced. Each Gold Winner received a substantial cash prize of 100,000 Thai Baht and the exciting opportunity to collaborate with CI Talks in producing a powerful video campaign centered around their chosen social issue. These impactful campaigns are set to be created throughout 2023 and are scheduled for release in early 2024.
