Intentional & Unintentional Cyberbullying
What is the meaning of cyberbullying? Cyberbullying involves the use of digital technologies and can take place on social media, gaming and messaging platforms, and your mobile phones. It can be intentional; intending to scare, shame, embarrass or anger the victim. But it can also be unintentional; a joke among friends at the expense of another person and their feelings. How you can help to prevent cyberbullying - “T.H.I.N.K” before you post. T - Is your post “True"? H - Is your post "Helpful"? I - Is your post "Inspiring"? N - Is your post "Necessary"? K - is your post "Kind"? Don’t be a bully, don’t respond if someone bullies you and don't retaliate. Be nice even if you don’t like someone, be a friend not a bystander and block the bully; how would you feel if someone harassed you? If we think before we post, we can all play a part in making the world a better place.
